Cairns - Get Involved

The Wilderness Society Queensland's Cairns Campaign Centre relies on committed volunteers who help achieve success for
Queensland campaigns by volunteering their time and skills.
Without
this ‘people power’ we would not have protected the forests of
South-East Queensland, ended landclearing and supported legislation to
protect Queensland's wild rivers and Cape York Peninsula's natural
heritage.
Volunteering is a great way to get experience, have fun, learn new skills, make friends and change the world.
There are many ways you can contribute, including:
- Coordinating Stalls and Events in Queensland
- Participating at stalls and events
- Assisting with Research and Development
- Helping in the office with administration work
- Helping out with IT skills
- Designing banners, posters, flyers, website design or newsletter layouts
- Helping with public outreach as a public speaker
- Media & Promotions Assistant
These are just a few examples of how you might be able to help. If you have specific skills and ideas to contribute, call today. As little as a few hours a week helps a lot.
Please contact our Cairns Campaign Centre for more information:
