This is a great opportunity for a proven face to face or door to door state fundraising manager to further your skills on a national level. This is a crucial role that will enable true impact on our organisation.

The position is responsible for achieving the budgeted acquisition targets, credit card ratio and shift KPI for the Wilderness Defender Program. The Wilderness Defender National Sales Manager is also responsible for ensuring interactions between Wilderness Defender Campaigners and the public represent The Wilderness Society accurately, responsibly, effectively and in a matter that generates public support for The Wilderness Societies goals.

Responsibilities include:
- All aspects of day to day management of State Managers
- Achieving budgeted door to door sales results nationally
- Achieving budgeted face to face sales results nationally
- Maintaining minimum staffing levels of The Wilderness Defender teams in each state.
- Ensuring standard training, coaching and development programs are used nationally
- Development of national staff recruitment, retention and reward programs
- Providing strategic planning and policy development for the Wilderness Defender Program in consultation with the Wilderness Defender Program Manager.
- Production and distribution of sales materials for the Wilderness Defender Program

Ideal attributes:
- Project and change management skills
- Face to face fundraising and door to door sales management skills at a national level
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritise
- Policy development and strategic planning skills
- Ability to manage expense and revenue budgets
- Maturity and high ethical standards in dealing with sensitive financial and confidential matters, as well as experience in relating sensitively to people of all ages, financial and social backgrounds
- Public speaking ability
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, email programs and the ability to operate in-house designed databases.
