In Memory of Chris Baxter OAM

In over 25 years, Chris Baxter supported our work to protect Australia’s remaining wild places in many varied ways from publishing articles to financially supporting our campaigns.

It is with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of Chris Baxter OAM, publisher of Climb and Wild Magazines; climber; bushwalker; passionate advocate and campaigner for wild places, and supporter of the Wilderness Society.

In over 25 years, Chris supported our work to protect Australia’s remaining wild places in many varied ways from publishing articles to financially supporting our campaigns. We pay tribute to his love and affection for all wild places.
