Entries for this competition have now closed.

With thousands of entries from all over NSW, we'd like to thank all the schools who participated in this event, and particularly the kids - who went to such a fantastic effort.

Congratulations to all our winners, and a big thank you to all of the Red Gum Kids for drawing attention to the plight of the majestic River Red Gums. Winning entries announced here >>

To draw attention to the plight of the majestic River Red Gums, The Wilderness Society has launched the Red Gum Kids Colouring Competition.

Entries are open to grades K-6 in NSW.

There are six great prizes to win. Each winner will recieve a fantastic book pack from Murray David Publishing and Eco Books – along with a bonus pack for their school library. And all entries will be presented to the NSW Premier, Morris Iemma.

Entries close - Friday 29th August, 2008
And the winners will be announced in early September.

Entering the Red Gum Kids Colouring competition is a great way for your class to discover more about Australia's unique plants and animals. Also, you’ll be joining The Wilderness Society, our campaign partners and traditional owners - who are working towards establishing new national Parks - to save our precious River Red Gums, for now, and future generations.

For more information please contact me, or my colleague Peter Cooper.

Warm regards,
