On 12 December, over 90,000 people joined the Walk Against Warming events across Australia. This community day of action coincided with the Copenhagen Climate talks.

Thank you to all of you who walked on this global day of action.

In Tasmania, the Wilderness Society helped to organise a walk against warming in the carbon-dense forests of the Upper Florentine Valley. This walk highlighted the crucial need for the next global climate deal including the protection of the world's intact natural forests.
