'The Power and The Passion' Art Exhibition
This free photographic exhibition highlights both the power of the Kimberley landscape and the passion of the people fighting to protect it, featuring nationally renowned photographers such as Christian Fletcher. It takes you on a journey from the passion of the blockade through to the power of the beauty of James Price Point.
Where: Perth Town Hall, corner Hay St. & Barrack St. Perth
Date: Saturday 31 March until Wednesday 11 April Times: Daily (10am-4pm) except public holidays
The 'Power and The Passion' exhibition comes to Perth after a successful showing in Broome. Featuring the photography of renowned artists such as Christian Fletcher (Australian & West Australian Landscape photographer of the year), Adam Monk, Nigel Gaunt, Ingetje Tadros, Rod Hartvigsen, David Bettini, Fleming Bo Jensen, Jim Delios and featuring audio and visual presentations by Broome film maker Jeff Skinner. All photographs that are on display will be available for purchase and individual prints will be sent to you via post, at the completion of the exhibition.

If you are interested in helping make the exhibition a success please contact our community campaigner - Melissa Colin on (08) 9420 7255 or email melissa.colin@wilderness.org.au. We have three roles that we need assitance with;
- Photographic exhibition attendants - man the exhibition stall daily and collect photographic sales. Volunteer for a few 3.5hr sessions (9:30-1pm & 1-4:30pm)
- Roving promoters - hand out fliers in the Hay and Murray St. malls with 'Toby the Turtle' during lunch 12-1pm and at peak hours for the week before and during the event.
