The EEG group, are dedicated, determined, unflappable volunteers, who have been working for years to save important, magnificent old growth forests of East Gippsland. In conjunction with the Warrandyte Climate Action Now network, I have organized this fundraiser to help Environment East Gippsland with their landmark case in the Supreme Court in March to save Brown Mountain's 600 - 800 year old trees in their ancient forests, and all the amazing 'rare and endangered' birds and animals that live there. Why? Because otherwise they will become mountains of woodchips and treefarms that will never grow beyond about 80 years old. Do you want your children to be able to see these awe inspiring wildlife arks?

If you're not too far away and you're free, come along to the show. You will have a great laugh and help our climate, and Brown Mountain forests, at the same time. In fact, why not make a day of it and support Warrandyte folk too. Warrandyte is a great place with lots to do such as swimming in the Yarra River, bushwalking, birdwatching, horse riding, rock-climbing, abseiling, exploring the old gold mining history, visiting artist's studios, grabbing a home made pie and coffee at the local bakery, dining out or having a picnic/BBQ on the river banks.
