City to Surf: Let's send a message to Chevron!
Chevron is the major sponsor of this year's City to Surf. But Chevron has a disastrous environmental record in Western Australia and around the world.
The company has already decimated part of Barrow Island to build their Gorgon gas hub there. Now, they want to vandalise James Price Point!
This year, we want to get as many City to Surf participants as possible to run in t-shirts carrying the message Chevron should walk away from James Price Point - We Agree!
Get involved
Register online as part of our team 'The Wilderness Society' (your entry fee supports Activ Foundation which assists people living with disabilities).
Once you've registered online, we'll send you a City to Surf pack including a terrific team t-shirt with our special message to Chevron. (If you already have a suitable red t-shirt that you can use, we can just send you an iron-on transfer to put on it).
Then, you can get bust asking your friends and family to sponsor you!
