Turtley awesome turtle talk
Come along to the Rockingham Regional Environment Centre for an inspiring seminar by international turtle conservationist Teri Shore, and meet some of the people who rehabilitate our mysterious ocean reptiles.
You'll also get an opportunity to see some of the work carried out at the Rockingham Regional Environment Centre and learn about how you can help the sea turtles under threat along our coastlines, particularly in the Kimberley.

Where: Rockingham Regional Environment Centre, 49 Safety Bay Road, Rockingham, WA.
Entry is by gold coin donation and all proceeds go toward the Rockingham Regional Environment Centre's terrific turtle rehabilitation work.
Teri Shore is the Program Director at Turtle Island Restoration Network (seaturtles.org) in California where she directs conservation, policy and advocacy campaigns for sea turtles, sustainable fisheries and oceans. Teri has won protection for sea turtles from commercial fisheries, secured marine protected areas for sea turtle habitat and achieved legal, policy and legislative victories for turtles internationally.
The Rockingham Regional Environment Centre was established as an education and resource facility for the community. As well as educational programs, the Centre also rehabilitates the critically endangered Loggerhead Turtle.
