Come visit us at the Fleurieu Folk Festival
The Fleurieu Folk Festival is a weekend of free music, poetry and dance set in the beautiful historic town of Willunga on South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula.
We'll be there with a colourful and informative marine-themed stall raising awareness about the need for better marine protection in South Australia.
Did you know South Australia is home to a far greater level of unique marine life than the Great Barrier Reef yet less than 1% of our oceans are fully protected from fishing and mining? Right now, the Rann Government is considering the future of our amazing marine region and we could see the establishment of large marine sanctuaries which will help ensure the long-term survival of our unique marine life.
Where: Cnr Aldinga Rd & Main Rd, Willunga
When: Saturday & Sunday 24-25 October 2009
Hope to see you there!
