Thank you to the hundreds of supporters from all over the country who joined in activities on our National Day of Action for the Kimberley, in solidarity with the people of Broome. Watch the video here.
Thank you to everyone who prepared a submission calling on Federal Environment Minister Tony Burke to protect our amazing eastern marine environment from the Coral Sea to Lord Howe Island.
After an investigation by the Wilderness Society and local environment groups, coal seam gas company Santos has had to temporarily shut down the majority of their drilling operations in the beautiful Pilliga Forest.
So from all of the activists and supporters at the Wilderness Society, we wish Bob well in his future endeavours. We hope he enjoys a relaxing break from the environmental campaign trail.

- Get Involved - NSW
The Wilderness Action Group (WAG) is a wonderful team of people of all ages and backgrounds who care passionately about our natural environment - and are prepared to stand up and do something about conserving it. Everything we do is focused towards helping to achieve Wilderness Society campaign wins, and getting involved is also a great way to meet like-minded people whilst taking part in creative and meaningful activities.
Every campaign, every action, every effort to protect our beautiful natural heritage depends on the contribution of community volunteers. That’s why we value, so highly, the time and energy of people who share our passion.
