Thank you to the hundreds of supporters from all over the country who joined in activities on our National Day of Action for the Kimberley, in solidarity with the people of Broome. Watch the video here.
So from all of the activists and supporters at the Wilderness Society, we wish Bob well in his future endeavours. We hope he enjoys a relaxing break from the environmental campaign trail.
A recent public meeting at the Adelaide Town Hall sent a very clear message to the gathered politicians that the health of the Muray-Darling river was not negotiable for the people of South Australia.
Australia had been promised a plan that would “once and for all” rise above the politics and return our great river to health, a promise that has not been kept. The Wilderness Society, with the Lifeblood Alliance is holding the Have Your Say - Murray River Community meeting.
