With the Labor victory in the November 2008 federal election, the campaign is no longer needed in its current form. However, we continue our work for a nuclear-free Australia.

25 nuclear reactors by 2050! - January 09, 2007

The Prime Minister has got the nuclear report he wanted. The pro-nuclear
panel released its report on Nov. 21 and found that Australia
could have 25 nuclear power reactors by 2050, a nuclear fuel production
plant and a high-level nuclear waste dump.

What were the Howard Government’s Plans? - June 06, 2008

The Howard Federal Government planned to build a nuclear waste dump in the Northern Territory. It even enacted special legislation, the Commonwealth Radioactive Waste Management Act (CRWMA) in late 2005 in the hope of foisting a nuclear waste dump on the Northern Territory.
