As part of a friendly and hard working team you will be responsible for a range of administrative support activities and for providing campaign and general information to members, supporters, the general public and other organisations, via telephone and email. This is a varied and interesting role with a strong link to the campaigning work of the organisation. You must be a team player, be able to use your initiative and possess strong communication skills. Location: Hobart. Position: Part Time

Volunteers are a fundamental part of The Wilderness Society and much of The Wilderness Society's work is performed by volunteers.People come from all walks of life, with energy, ideas, skills or just an interest, all of which eminently help The Wilderness Society with its aim to protect, promote and preserve wilderness. Since the early years of the Franklin campaign, community members from across Australia from all walks of life have put their energy, ideas and skills towards protecting, promoting and restoring wilderness for future generations.
