The Natural Resources Commission (NRC) are currently assessing the River Red Gum Forests of south western NSW, to make recommednations to government over the future management of these Australian icons. The next step in this process is a series of public forums with the NRC, with a Sydney forum happening soon
The Wilderness Society is extremely concerned by current threats facing our National Parks, with a proposal to open them up to recreational shooting and to establish game reserves being introduced into the NSW Parliament. Come along to the urgent public rally being held by the Parks and Native Animals coalition.
