Get Involved - NSW

How could we ever save the Wilderness without you?

Volunteering in NSW

Every campaign, every action, every effort to protect our beautiful natural heritage depends on the contribution of community volunteers. That’s why we value, so highly, the time and energy of people who share our passion.

Without the will of the people, the Franklin River would be dammed, Ningaloo Reef would be unprotected and the Daintree might now be lost forever.

Whatever your strengths and abilities, we can harness them to protect and promote our environment. It’s a great chance to meet people, learn new skills and play a part in conserving the unique landscapes and wildlife of Australia .

At TWS NSW, we have some great opportunities for people to get 'involved' in our current campaigns. You can work from home, spend time in our office or maybe take The Wilderness Society message out into the community.

We currently have opportunities in...

Graphic design, postering, manning market stalls/information booths, helping out at events, writing letters, designing/painting banners, research, coordinating speaker programs/slide presentations, office/reception work, media monitoring, arranging displays, organising fundraisers, lobbying, green policing, field trip coordination, direct action.

We also have internships available for people to work alongside our Campaigners and learn what it takes to gain environmental 'wins'. (These positions will be subject to interview procedures).

For more information please contact:
