The Kangaroo Island canyons and upwelling is too precious to risk, yet company Bight Petroleum are proposing seismic testing and drilling for oil and gas in this biodiversity hotspot and whale feeding/aggregation area. Last weekend, more than 20,000 people attended Concert for the Kimberley in Perth, Western Australia. Headline acts John Butler, Missy Higgins, and Ball Park Music generously gave their time to the cause, and the turn out was sensational.
