Queensland 2012 Election Update No. 1

As I am sure you’ve heard, the Queensland state election will be on Saturday the 24th of March. This is going to be an important election in terms of future directions on the environment.

We really need your help to make sure that all political parties adopt strong positions to properly protect the environment. We need to make this a central issue for the election campaign.

Whether it’s helping to run market stalls, door knocking, painting banners, handing out flyers, and organising community events, or talking to your local party candidates – your active involvement will make a big difference during this important election campaign.

Together we’ve achieved so much for Queensland’s wild places, and now is the time to make sure we keep our environmental protections in place. But to do this we really need your help. Let’s all get active and make a big difference together this election!
