Thank you to the hundreds of supporters from all over the country who joined in activities on our National Day of Action for the Kimberley, in solidarity with the people of Broome. Watch the video here.
Thank you to everyone who prepared a submission calling on Federal Environment Minister Tony Burke to protect our amazing eastern marine environment from the Coral Sea to Lord Howe Island.
The next twelve months is crucial to deciding the future of the Cape York Peninsula. It could become yet another mining province - forever damaged and degraded, or a World Heritage Area.
So from all of the activists and supporters at the Wilderness Society, we wish Bob well in his future endeavours. We hope he enjoys a relaxing break from the environmental campaign trail.

- World Turtle Day 2012
The Wilderness Action Group (WAG) is a wonderful team of volunteers of all ages and backgrounds who care passionately about our environment - and are prepared to stand up and do something about conserving it.
It's easy and fun to help protect sea turtles. Simply build a sand turtle on your local beach (or in a sand pit) before Wednesday 23 May 2012 and send us a photo of your finished creation via Facebook, Twitter or email. The more turtles, the louder our voices will be in support of their protection! Where: Various locations When: 19-20 May, 2012.
