| The Wilderness Society's Luke Chamberlain, Gavan McFadzean and Amelia Young explain the crucial role forests play in water quality and quantity in our catchments - and in helping to fight climate change. |
Luke Chamberlain,
Victorian Forest Campaigner
Gavan McFadzean,
Victorian Campaigns Manager
In the lead up to the 2010 Victorian election, the Wilderness Society will keep working on the campaign to save old-growth forests and to educate the wider community on the importance Victoria’s old-growth forests for storing carbon and helping fight climate change as well as the importance the forests play in water quality and quantity in our catchments.
Protecting Victoria's native forests must be part of the Victorian State governments plans to tackle climate change.
