The humpback whales have already begun arriving in the Kimberley - the first pod was spotted off Talboys rock, Manari on May 28th. In celebration of this epic migration the 2010 Kimberley whale festival will be held from July 15-18th!
On Sat 24th July, Junkadelic, Blackmilk, The Joe Kings and the Brow Horn Orchestra entertained the crowd for a music fundraiser in support our unique Kimberley coast - good vibes, and a good reason! Check out how the gig went, and some of the pics...
On Sunday May 23rd, several environmental organisations across northern Australia are connecting to participate in a joint event on World Turtle Day. All around the beaches of northern Australia, groups and individuals will be building flatback turtles from sand to send Environment Minister Peter Garrett the message 'Save Our Flatbacks'.

Show your opposition to a Kimberley industrial site by attending Woodside's annual general meeting on Friday 30th April. Help us to distribute information to Woodside shareholders about the company's plans for a massive industrial port and gas processing industry on the unique Kimberley coast. When: Fri 30th April at 9am, Perth Convention Exhibition Centre, 21 Mounts Bay Rd.

An invitation to attend a Broome workshop for Peaceful Community Action is extended to those who want to protect the Kimberley. When: Saturday 20th March, 10am - 4.30pm
If you are an aspiring artist who loves nature & lives in the Great Western Woodlands we would like to invite you to join us for an artists retreat. This weekend will be a chance to participate in art workshops and listen to talks on art and nature all in the beautiful & inspiring surrounds of the largest temperate woodland remaining on Earth.
We're looking for a funky, new, activist t-shirt that can be proudly worn by our volunteers. You can decide on the messaging and colours, but remember to check out the Volunteer section of our website to guide your decision. Send in your design by 17th May.
'Funk for da Fish' presents Matt Gresham, The Brow Horn Orchestra, Funk Club House Band and DJ Charlie Bucket for a night of good tunes, happy vibes and an important issue - saving our marine life! Friday 26th March, $10 entry.
