The panel includes:

Cetacean (whales, dolphins, dugongs) expert Simon Allen
Simon has recently been involved in the discovery of dwarf spinner dolphins off the coast of James Price Point. This species of dolphin was previously only thought to be found in the Gulf of Thailand.

Representatives from the Walmadan Active Research Collective 
The Walmadan Active Research Collective has been responsible for a range of citizen science projects at James Price Point over the past 2 years. This season the humpback whale survey has recorded up to 59 pods of whales a day swimming up and down the coast. As well as their extensive whale research they have also discovered colonies of endangered Bilbies at James Price Point.

Video presentation by Paleontologist Dr Steven Salisbury
University of Queensland lecturer Dr Steven Salisbury has completed extensive studies of the world famous dinosaur trackway at James Price Point. In a soon to be published paper he will be describing more than 16 species of dinosaurs which once roamed this remarkable coast.

The event will be MC'd by Wilderness Society State Coordinator Peter Robertson. There will opportunities for you to ask questions of our experts after their presentations. Nibbles will be provided and the venue has a cash bar. We look forward to seeing you there!
