Together, we won the Bight. This successful campaign has informed current work happening across the country. Join us for a discussion about the Wilderness Society's ongoing campaigns, including how we are challenging the oil and gas industry's seemingly automatic rights for exploration in iconic areas across both land and sea. Find out more on Thursday, 30 September at 7pm AEST.

As a key member of the Wilderness Society’s community, you’re invited to peek behind the curtain at a live panel event with Wilderness Society campaigners on Thursday, 30 September at 7pm AEST.

Come along and join Wilderness Society folks from around the country to hear how we’re applying the lessons we learned from the Great Australian Bight campaign to some exciting new work all around this great continent.

You’ll have the opportunity to discuss and reflect on our shared success as well as tell us what you think of our new approaches. We’re excited to hear what you think and will share your reflections and feedback with the organisation and our Board for consideration.

By standing shoulder-to-shoulder, we can stay one step ahead and make sure that destructive projects are stopped before they even start.

How will the event work?

You’ll be able to join the conversation individually online from any location, on any device which supports Zoom—we’ll send you the link on the day of the event.

A Wilderness Society host will guide you through the event which will take around an hour (you may want to allow additional time in case it runs over).

Participants are encouraged to bring a keen sense of curiosity and wisdom of experience.

Keep an eye out for further information and updates on this page! Please contact our friendly Supporter Care team with any questions not answered here by email or on 1800 030 641.
