Celebrating the 2018 Shortlist at the Civic Library in Canberra
On Saturday, the 2018 Environment Award for Children’s Literature was announced at the Civic Library in Canberra. As well as celebrating the 11 shortlisted books, the event had a focus on incredible native species that are under threat. Including, a very special guest who was in attendance: Brian the Bettong from Mulligan’s Flat. Children also enjoyed story time where 2016 Environment Award for Children’s Literature book Seagull by Danny Snell was read aloud.
