Launching with a $20,000 prize for the winning song, the prize celebrates the beauty of nature and our connection to it. The Environmental Music Prize seeks to encourage more talented artists to write powerful songs with hopeful messages that move hearts and minds to accelerate environmental action. The competition will highlight a diverse range of music and build a movement of artists committed to using their voice and platform to participate in campaigns that make the music industry more sustainable.

In February, the public will be asked to decide on a winning song that resonates with them, and a People's Choice declared that will see the winning artist receive $20,000. The artist will be invited to join Green Music Australia's sustainability initiatives and Impact Partner campaigns. Green Music Australia is an acclaimed music industry charity, harnessing the cultural power of our influential music scene to create a greener, safer future.
