The Pilliga Forest Cultural Values and Threats From Coal And Gas Report was commissioned by the MEHI Centre to inform Gomeroi people of the significance of the Pilliga Forest, its history, ongoing cultural significance and current threats.
This report was made independently by the Moree Ecological Holistic Information Centre (MEHI). While the Wilderness Society did not contribute to the making of this report, it supports the Gomeroi effort to save the Pilliga from coal seam gas.
Watch the launch of the report on the cultural and natural values of the Pilliga forest, and why it must be protected from coal seam gas.
