Black Cockatoo Crisis—purchase tickets for the new film!

All three species of black cockatoos located in south-west WA are under threat, despite the seemingly common presence of black cockatoos in Perth. Habitat loss from deforestation and land clearing is a major cause of this threat.

The story of these birds and their uncertain future is being brought to screens through a spectacular new film, Black Cockatoo Crisis.

The Wilderness Society is proud to be a major funder and Associate Producer of Black Cockatoo Crisis, directed and produced by renowned documentary maker, Jane Hammond.

Screenings of Black Cockatoo Crisis commence in February at locations around the country.
