Position: Outbound Caller

The Wilderness Society is looking for an Outbound Caller. Come and work with like-minded nature lovers to inspire and empower supporters. Receive an hourly wage of $33.44 and performance bonuses.

Flexible to work from home or from our campaign centres across the country. Experience in donor care, telemarketing, or fundraising preferred.

The position:

Join our team of fundraising & engagement specialists to support the life that supports us all.

As an Outbound Caller, you will be on the phones engaging people to support and power our incredible campaigns. Working from home or from one of our Campaign Centres across Australia, your day-to-day work will include:

  • Engaging with donors via phone to maximise retention and lifetime value, including thank you calling and acquisition calling.

  • Providing campaign and general information to members, supporters, general public, and other organisations with a view to maximising support for TWS.

  • Working with other Outbound Callers and Team Leader to collaborate, strategise and celebrate successes throughout the day.

To be successful in this role, you will be:

  • A confident, social person who enjoys communicating with different types of people

  • An autonomous self-starter who is driven, motivated, and goal orientated

  • Over 18 years old, Australian or New Zealand citizen or holder of a valid working visa

  • Able to commit to a minimum of 3 full days each week, Monday through Friday

  • Passionate about the protection and conservation of the natural world!

  • Strong digital literacy, CRM database experience (Blackbaud) ideal.
